I very rarely photograph people.
But I wanted to create something different.
A project that celebrates the emotions we share with our dogs—not the posed moments, not the perfect ones, but all those little things that happen in between.
The way they lean into us.
The way we hold them without thinking about it.
The way they look at us.
The comfort. The trust. The silliness. The love.
Those moments where you can simply see how much we mean to each other.
It is called The Space Between Us.
This project is about capturing that connection exactly as it is—honest, imperfect, and completely yours. Because one day, these little moments may be the ones you miss the most.

THE WHY BEHIND THE SPACE BETWEEN US
That space is different for everyone.
It can be quiet and tender, playful and ridiculous, or complete chaos. There is no perfect pose I am looking for. I want you to hold them, play with them, love on them—and simply be together.
I chose black and white intentionally. Without the distraction of color, it becomes about emotion, touch, expression and connection.
Our phones are full of pictures of our dogs, but so often, we are missing from them.
The Space Between Us is about putting you back into the story and preserving not just what your dog looks like, but what being together feels like.
Because one day, it may be the little things you miss the most.
Just you, your dog, and everything that exists in the space between you.
To launch this project, I am opening just 10 spots at a special project price of $595 — a total value of $850.
Your experience includes your portrait session and a $500 artwork credit to choose how you would like to preserve your favorite images.
The credit is enough for a beautiful 10-inch Fine Art Portrait, or you can apply it toward one of our portrait collections and save even more.
But more than anything, I am looking for people who truly love their dogs and want to celebrate the relationship they share.
