At Bina Photography, every fine art pet portrait session begins long before the camera comes out.

One of the things that makes my process different is the time I take to ensure both you and your pet feel comfortable before the portrait session ever begins. That's why every experience starts with an in-studio consultation—a relaxed meet and greet designed to introduce your pet to the studio environment while allowing us to begin planning the artwork we will create together.

Located in Englewood, Colorado, just minutes from Park Meadows, the Bina Photography studio was designed specifically for pets and the people who love them. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a calm, welcoming environment where animals can settle in naturally and feel at ease.

Why the Consultation Matters

Every pet is different.

Some walk into a new environment with confidence and curiosity. Others need a little more time to observe, explore, and decide that everything is safe.

Neither approach is right or wrong.

The purpose of the consultation is to meet your pet exactly where they are.

During this visit, your pet has the opportunity to explore the studio freely, become familiar with the space, and begin building trust without any expectations placed on them. There are no poses to hold, no pressure to perform, and no camera pointed in their direction.

This time is simply about helping them feel comfortable.

For many pets, especially those who may be shy, highly energetic, anxious, or coming from a rescue background, this introduction can make a tremendous difference in their overall experience.

By removing the unknown, we create the foundation for portraits that feel relaxed, natural, and authentic.

Taking the time to slow down and meet them where they are creates a more relaxed and positive experience for everyone involved.

By the time the portrait session arrives, your dog is no longer walking into an unfamiliar space—they are returning to a place they recognize.

What Happens Next

Following your in-studio consultation, we will schedule your portrait session at a time that feels right for you and your dog.

Because your dog has already been introduced to the space, the session itself becomes a more relaxed and familiar experience. We move at their pace, allowing their personality to come through naturally.

After your session, you will return to the studio for your selection appointment, where you will view your portraits and choose the artwork that best reflects your dog and your home.

Each step is designed to feel calm, thoughtful, and seamless—so you can simply enjoy the experience and the moments we create together.
